Sir David John KCMG
Currently Chairman of BSI and Balfour Beatty. Attained his BA at Christ's College Cambridge, his MBA from Columbia University NY and a SMP from Harvard University. Sir David has held directorships within and headed up numerous British blue chip companies. He also plays a leading role within the CBI and several Private Sector Educational Bodies e.g. the Institute for Industry and Higher Education, Asia House and SOAS to name but a few. Sir David has served on numerous Public Sector Boards, not least British Trade International. Of particular interest to the IBG is BSI's in depth interest in Certification and Standards issues associated with Intelligent Building.
Sir Mark Moody-Stuart KCMG
Currently Chairman of Anglo American plc., whilst also holding directorships with HSBC and Accenture and past Chairman of Shell Transport and Trading Company plc.. Sir Mark graduated from St John's Cambridge with a BA, MA and PhD. Of particular interest to the IBG is Sir Mark's commitment to Intelligent Building. He has Co- Chaired the G-8 Task Force on Renewable Energy, and is a Member of the UN Sec-Gen Adv. Council on Global Compact. He also serves as President of several Medical and Engineering bodies. Sir Mark attended, as Chairman of the SBBC, the joint IBG Conference on IB, held in Singapore in 2004, agreeing to be a Patron shortly afterwards. |
